My head hurts...

My latest muse:

Reality has always existed. It has no beginning. It has no end.

A beginning to reality signifies a time without reality. Out of a void reality could not be born.

An ending to reality signifies a void future. Therefore, reality would have never existed.

An alternative version:

Time has always existed. It has no beginning. It has no end.

A beginning to time signifies a time without time. Out of a void time could not be born.

An ending to time signifies a void future. Therefore, time would have never existed.

It is tough for me to define reality, so I substituted a different word into your statement. Perhaps "reality" and "time" are synonomous.

I would say they are synonomous.

Isn't it strange to try and understand how time or reality have always existed?

As mortals it almost seems necessary and natural to put a beginning and end to something in order to understand it.

Drew,

I would agree with that last statement. That's why I don't try to understand it. I just accept it. =o)
